Yasir Diab is currently a patent agent in the Henderson, Nevada office of Bayramoglu Law Office LLC. Yasir received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.
After graduation, he worked as an Intellectual Property Analyst at Texas Tech University’s Office of Technology Commercialization. Here, he assessed the University’s faculty research via the writing of “Technology Assessment Reports” to analyze if the research has patentable and commercial prospects. The research and technology included Microfluidics, Nanoscale Engineering, Graphene Production, 3D Printing Technology, Smart Grids and Transformers, Wind Energy Technology, and Petroleum Exploration techniques.
Thereafter, Yasir served as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for seven years. At the USPTO, he examined patent applications relating to electro-mechanical machining tools performing a variety of machining operations such as milling, drilling, boring, turning, gear cutting, pressing, and forming (among others) as well as patent applications concerning axially moving and rotating tools, robotic multi-spindle machines, autonomously operating and moving machines, press brakes, and robotic tool changers in automotive and aerospace applications.
Currently, Yasir is pursuing his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University on a part-time basis.
