Afshin Zamanpour, Ph.D., is an intellectual property attorney specializing in patent drafting and prosecution. He has been a patent practitioner for several years, drafting and prosecuting hundreds of patent applications. He holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering (Materials/Chemical/Electrical). Due to his interdisciplinary background, Afshin has worked on a wide range of technologies, including semiconductors, computer software and hardware, advanced materials, mechanical devices, and electrical art. Afshin has worked on the fabrication of magnetically doped semiconductors and self-assembly of nanoparticles. He also has extensive experience with the fabrication of rare earth-free permanent magnets.
