Charles Detweiler is
a patent agent at Bayramoglu Law Offices LLC. Charles is registered to practice in patent cases with the USPTO and is a member of the state bar of North Carolina.Prior to working with the Bayramoglu Law Offices team, Charles was as a field biologist along the Texas coast, he worked as a research scientist in the Laboratory of Pharmacology and Chemistry at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in RTP NC, and most recently as a privacy law / data breach project consultant and analytics expert. Charles was the principal inventor of the first immuno-spin trap, anti-DMPO, which is a research tool for detecting protein-bound free radicals in time and space. He also developed various software tools in SQL to aid and assist in data breach notification. Charles holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M, a master’s from the University of Texas and a JD from Texas Tech University.
