Tsung is registered to practice in patent cases before the USPTO.Before joining Bayramoglu Law Offices, Tsung worked as a patent search freelancer and designed a patent search engine of his own. His search tool enables inventors to search like a patent examiner. Tsung was able to provide prior art search, competitors search, freedom of operation search, key terms search, and classification search for the clients. Before Tsung became a freelancer, he served as a patent examiner at the USPTO for seven years. During which Tsung issued over 80 patents and participated in over 20 appeal cases at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), with more than 90% of the cases affirmed by the PTAB. Tsung was a Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co.) repair factory manager for iPad 2 production in 2011, an engineer lead for iPad refurbish process in 2010, and a test engineer lead for Mac Pro, IMac, Xserve production in 2010. Tsung completed his M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. Tsung focused on antenna design in his M.S. degree, with a thesis titled “Theoretical and Experimental Study of Wide-Band Quasi-Planar Conical Antennas”. Tsung was also the primary author of “Localization of Passive Targets Based on a Radar Sensor Network”, presented in Progress In Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS) in Hangzhou, China, March 2008.
