William R. Brees

William “Bill” Brees is a litigation attorney in St. Petersburg, Florida, who practices with the firm’s Henderson, Nevada office on litigation matters related to all aspects of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He started his professional life as a mechanical engineer, working on research and development in the automotive industry, and his work resulted in 25 U.S. patents being granted. He then attended and graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 2012 with both his J.D. and LL.M. in Intellectual Property. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Federal District Courts in Florida. Throughout his legal career, he has practiced exclusively on matters related to intellectual property. He has gained experience with all aspects of intellectual property, from identification and prosecution to licensing and enforcement.
